Wates鈥� M&E subsidiary sees turnover top 拢450m

SES turned in a record set of numbers last year, the firm has said in accounts filed at Companies House.

The M&E specialist said income was up by 55% to a record 拢464m with pre-tax profit up 60% to 拢9.3m. It said that its forward order book had doubled to 拢1.2bn.

The business, which is a subsidiary of Wates, said staff numbers were up to 890 which included more than 100 apprentices.

SES鈥檚 ongoing jobs include Edge London Bridge, being built by Mace, and the Life and Mind 黑洞社区 in Oxford being built by Wates.
