to help the PM hit the 3 million homes target …

10,000 homes are to be built at Greenwich Peninsula in east London. The first 229 homes are designed by Stock Woolstencroft and are being developed by Bellway Homes. The £5bn scheme is being led by joint venture partners Lend Lease and Quintain, working with English Partnerships. 3,800 homes on the overall site will be for key workers and people on low incomes.

3,300 homes are being built at Ironstone, a 70 acre extension to the new town of Telford, Shropshire. The first phase includes homes by George Wimpey and Persimmon Homes (pictured), also working with EP. The scheme, which is designed by architect HTA, will have commercial space, restaurants, bars and a primary school.

A quarter of the homes will be affordable.
