London-based firm PDCM has been appointed a project manager and an employers’ agent on the construction of a £100m biochemistry department for Oxford University.

The project manager has opened an Oxford office after winning the job, which is in the final stages of planning consent, with construction due to start in the first quarter of 2006. The cutting edge department will house over 300 staff and cover 20,000m2.
