Liverpool work at city鈥檚 Alder Hey hospital
Galliford Try has won a 拢15m scheme to build mental health facilities in Liverpool.
Awarded under the Procure Partnerships Framework, the firm will build a so-called 鈥榗ommunity cluster鈥 (pictured) at the Laing O鈥橰ourke-built Alder Hey Children鈥檚 Hospital, which opened in 2015.
The scheme includes a 12-bed specialist inpatient mental health unit and another facility for mental health and neurodevelopmental outpatients.
Therapeutic gardens, parking and a community police hub will also be part of the development.
Architect Cullinan Studio is behind the masterplan, with 10 Architect on the team as construction architect. Engineer is Scott Hughes Design with Lorne Stewart working on M&E.
Galliford Try starts enabling works this month with completion scheduled for 2021.
