Former Homes England and Mace bosses among industry names to receive gongs
Several industry figures have been recognised in this year鈥檚 King鈥檚 birthday honours.
Peter Denton, former chief executive of Homes England, has been handed a CBE while Mark Holmes, former deputy chair of Mace, and Faith Wainwright, structural engineer and director of Arup, have also received CBEs.
Several architects were rewarded with OBEs, including Julian Harrap and Eric Parry.
Nick Smallwood, who last year stepped down as chief executive of the Infrastructure and Projects Authority, was awarded an OBE while JCB heir Jo Bamford was awarded a CBE for his work as boss of clean energy firm HydraB Power.
Matthew Thurstan, chief finance officer and director general, Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, received a Companion order of the Bath knighthood for public service.
Urban Splash founder Tom Bloxham, who was awarded an MBE in 1999, was given a CBE for 鈥渟ervices to culture and Manchester International Festival/Factory International鈥.
And Francesca Robertsm, former CEO of charity CRASH, was awarded an OBE.
