When a software developer needed to create a comfortable ambience it turned to Luxo’s range of luminaires.
Software developer Real Time Worlds in Dundee is using a wide selection of luminaires from Luxo to create a comfortable, energy-efficient environment within its new offices.
Real Time Worlds specialises in the development of leading-edge technology for multi-player online gaming.
The company has recently moved into new shell-and-core premises which, in a fast-track project, have been fitted out to their own specification.
The property comprises a mixture of cellular and open-plan accommodation, and the lighting was specified and installed by contractor DH Morris to meet the needs of each space.
In the offices it was essential to comply with the requirements of LG7, and the client also required the capacity to dim the luminaires.
Luxo’s X-type luminaires offered high light-output with good glare control and a stylish appearance.
For the boardroom, Real Time Worlds wanted lighting that would create an impact but still be energy-efficient. These needs were met by Luxo’s boldly designed Onda system.
Onda is a suspended modular solution that provides indirect, diffuse lighting.
Each module consists of an electrical support that houses the reflector, light sources and control gear.
The Onda fittings are supplemented with Silvy wall-mounted luminaires, which create a versatile lighting scheme for the boardroom that can be adjusted to suit a variety of activities.
