Legrand has launched Salamandre LT2, an enhanced range of lighting trunking that features friction-grip couplers and fittings.

These are held in place by metal tabs that grip the trunking base.

This leaves both hands free to tighten the fixing screws, strengthen ribs on the sides, which increase rigidity and stability on longer spans, and secure covers that can be installed and cut on site, which eliminates the need for special covers on fittings, says Legrand.

Salamandre LT2 also has a wider opening on the cable retainer to facilitate cable access and an increased cable capacity.
