Johnson Controls has produced a second generation of its York Tempo air-cooled chiller.

The range has 10 models from 310kW to 521kW in both standard and high-efficiency formats. Developments include all-aluminium micro-channel condensers to improve heat transfer while reducing size, weight and refrigerant charge. The units come with multiple scroll compressors and a high-efficiency evaporator.
