Property and construction consultancy Bucknall Austin has won a four-year contract to work on the regeneration framework for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.

The firm will be responsible for providing economic and market assessments, and procurement and development support for the scheme.

Project partners, architecture and design firm Halsall Lloyd Partnership will also provide master planning support and advice on urban design and the built form.

Both firms will have the opportunity to tender for additional projects within the framework.

Bucknall Austin launched its Liverpool operation in 2005 to meet the growing demand for regeneration expertise in the run-up to the city鈥檚 year as Capital of Culture in 2008.
